9/19/07: Alright, I’ve done a bit of work since the last report. The registration is still bugged and logging in still does nothing except verify that you entered the right user name and password. However, I have made an important development. I have created the idea.

The key is cards. In addition to magic and attacks, characters will also use cards. The card system will be similar to using items, except that it involves hands and decks and all that other stuff. More on that later when I figure out the details myself.

Also, I am going to add a whole bunch of races and classes to the form. When that is done, that will be the at least somewhat finalized version. The real difficulty will be trying to figure out a way to enforce race-class-alignment compatability. Since there will be a lot of races (even including races such as half-animals and unicorns, among many other things) and classes (including things such as dragon master and other mysterious classes), this will be a lot of work.

9/13/07: The page is still in the beta form of development. Heck, DragonDagger is probably the only person who will be reading this announcement without having to look in the archives to do so. However, I guess it’s not wise to underestimate him - after all, he might invite some friends over to see the beta.

I suppose I’m going off on a tangent, though. Suffice to say, welcome to the DragonDaggers beta home page. Soon, I will be adding various other features such as a login box, some links to other pages, and the like. So, bookmark this stay and enjoy your site (or something like that), ‘cause there’s gonna be a lot of changes going on around here.

Eventually, we will have a contact page somewhere around here. For now, though, you can simply reach us by my e-mail, DD’s e-mail, or the forums for any bug reports, suggestions, comments, et cetera. And no, you do not have to keep the default subject line for the e-mails, which are just there for if you cannot think of anything else to put.

And if any of you have any ideas on effects to use for the page, we at DragonDaggers are all ears. However, remember that in terms of flashy effects, there are times that less is more. I’m talking specifically to you on this one, DD.
